Our destiny is now in our hands
We won another big moment today and took the momentum out of it to get our campaign into top gear.
Just when it looked like Jayawardene and Yuvi were going to take the game away from us, Aditya Dole stood up and made a statement removing both of them within 3 balls.
They are the big moments in a match and the ones that make the difference to winning and losing so often.
The team took the lead from the great over and we didn't look back. Everyone was alert in the field and the bowlers bowled a tight line and length to crush the life out of Punjab.
Sid was great again and Watto’s last 3 overs were amazing, 1/9.
In reply, Lumby showed what he can do by destroying their bowling to lay the foundations for a solid win.
Ojha and Yusuf followed on from his good work to ensure we got the total safely and in reasonably quick time as we need to improve our net run rate.
Our future is now in our hands. We have 3 matches left and we need to win 2 to ensure we make the finals……
