The Dunhill Links
I am always extremely grateful to receive an invite to play in the Dunhill Links, it is a sensational tournament and an amazing experience for amateur golfers.
I again played with my great mates Peter O’Malley and Ian Botham. POM was again my partner and this year Beefy had John Daly as his partner. We had a lot of fun playing together for three days on some of Scotland’s greatest courses.
It was great to see John really wind up on some holes, on one he hit a 395 yard drive, amazing! Event better was to listen to him talk about the best way to get around St. Andrews, the home of golf and the course John won the British open at in 1995.
It was an amazing week, on and off the golf course! Hopefully I won’t be as distracted next year and might achieve my goal of making the cut…… we can do it POM!
Also, I would like to thank Titleist for wonderful clubs.
