I think we are out of the finals now
What a disappointing day!!
Knowing that we had to win to keep our finals hopes in our control, we slumped to 3/21 in the first 20 balls.
This put too much pressure on the middle order and it took a great partnership between Voges and Raut to give us something we could bowl too, even though it was nowhere near enough.
Credit needs to go to Steyn and Kallis for the way they bowled as well.
If we were to have any chance, we knew we would have to take regular wickets and bowl very well and really back it up in the field.
However, this wasn’t to be as KP came in and won the match by himself. You could tell he wasn’t too pleased being left out the last couple of matches and sent a message to the coach with a very impressive 62(29). Well played.
Unfortunately, we didn't have enough runs to come back from the assault and it looks like our finals hopes are gone.
If results go for us and we win our last game against KKR we might be an outside chance but it doesn’t look good.
