After 2 hours I was knocked out of the Aussie Millions on Tuesday, I have now officially played for the shortest time ever in a poker tournament. It was a great hand almost unbeatable, with an unlucky end. I think I’ll probably play in a tournament on Friday just to get some more table time!

This week has been quite a big one for me, on Monday night 888poker hosted a VIP party at Le Bar in Crown for all the qualifiers who were playing. Jeff Fenech was there as were my poker mates Brenden Fevola, Dave Hughes, Glenn Archer and Jordan Bannister. Fenech came up with a new catch cry on the night ‘Aussie, Aussie, Aussie, 8,8,8’ – it took off well with the crowd and was chanted all night.

On Tuesday before I sat down in the Main Event I had a press conference and wore a sleeve that looked like ink all over my arm, the media thought I had a real tatt but I was just taking the mickey out of Michael Clarke and his new ink job. We announced the Poker Ashes that morning, which will be a poker tournament with 4 English and 4 Aussies players, it’ll take place at the same time the cricket ashes is on. Stay tuned for more info on this one, it’ll be huge....

So now I’ve got a few days off to reflect on my short stint in the Aussie Millions, maybe I should practise a little more online.....fingers crossed for Friday hey.
