Cricket in Las Vegas!

Had a bit of big night on Tuesday with all the 888 crew but it was early to rise for all of us as we had a short cricket match at Sunset Park in Vegas.
At about 10am it was already nearly 40 degrees but we played against the Las Vegas cricket team. It came down to the last ball, but team 888 came through and beat the Las Vegas Cricket club. It was great fun and it is really good to see that cricket is being played in the USA. They tell me there are 45 cricket teams in Los Angeles! Check out this video that PokerNews did about the cricket
After the cricket it was time for the Ante Up for Africa charity poker event at the Rio. I met Jason Alexander who played George in Seinfeld as well as Matt Damon and Ben Affleck. Shannon Elizabeth was on my table along with actress turned poker pro, Jennifer Tilley.
Unfortunately I busted out about 1.5 hours in.... but I plan on doing much better in the main event. Today is taking it easy by the pool before the big one tomorrow.

Shane, I am from England. Just got married in Canada, and back now. I really want to see you make a come back, please please please make an ASHES RETURN, we need you to keep running as legend of spin until you drop dead! We really want to see you keep taking wickets, and continue the combat between yourself and Kevin Pieterson.
Come on mate, for Austrailia, for the Cricket, for you, and for your fans, and for Glenns late Wife.
Warm regards Emile

Just to think, the Americans used to love cricket so much back in the early 1800’s. Their loss!
No chance of you being tempted to become the coach of Hampshire Warney?

Warnie for PM. You are a legend Shane. You are still the best spinner going around and an Ashes comeback would be epic.

this is about IPL :
Mr. Warne, you cant use the word SHAME here. No doubt the decision of changing veneu has dissappointed all indian cricket fans. but security of our own and international players including you is the primary concern of Indian goverment.
Yes , we are also sad to know that our security agencies are not confident enough to gaurd the IPL event , but at same time i would appretiate this decision which consider life at the top rather than making money.
Mr. warne , i hope you understand the conditions around India. Its not like Australia mate. we got enemies at 4 different borders ,who are just waiting to hit international community arriving India and at top of the list are definitely,
INTERNATIONAL CRICKETERS
Hope you get my point

Hi Shane You are doing a great job in IPL. I always see you as an innovative captain/coach and my respect for you has gone up immensely in your last 1/2 of your career. I have suggestion for some players in next league. Why arent Canada’s John Davidson, or Netherlands Ryan ten doeschate playing? You would be able to get them signed in im sure for the Royals. Also there are some Afghanistan players who are good also

I hear you have renewed your marriage vows with Simone..remember it really is NOT a re-marriage but a renewing of COVENANT MARRIAGE vows even though you may have been legally divorced. For once a person is married it is NOT over till a spouse dies. Only God ends a marriage through the death of a spouse. CONGRATULATIONS...Please be faithful to her and her ALONE till death do you part.
