Hi guys just a quick shout to all who organised and played in the Shane Warne Crown Bounty! What a great Night. It was my first ever tournament and after a nailbiting and lesson giving 9 or so hours i ended up 7th and in the money,i was aiming for a top 50 finish and when i grinded my way through to that,top twenty was the new target,we played at 21/22 players for nearly two hours with no one wanting to out on the bubble,when we finaly got through it was back slapping all round and then back to business. 9 hours seemed a marathon to me for my first tourney but when i finaly went out in 7th i was so buzzed up. It was truly a great night and the round of applause and kind words from every single player as i left was a real insight to how proffessionals play the game. Special thanks to Warney and Jeff Fenech who made the effort to say hello to a complete novice in his first tourney, and well done to Arif mehmet who finaly put me out and went on to win it with jeff and Rosa.

A good night for all was had and a few suprises along the way.Alot of the usual suspects were here and some really good play went on. another winner for the crown,over 170 runners battled it out leaving the best of the best on the final table.Some inspired play by the new player who went out with dignity in 7th and some wonderfull play by the final three who got over the line.Good luck to the team in Las vegas

We were all there to the end to see a great night of poker,to make a change all the donkeys went out on que and we had a great second half.If jeff fenech decides to take up poker full time we had better all watch our stack the mans a magician,well done mate and good luck for tuesday,we will be all there cheering you on.I thought the new guy (if thats true!!) from W.A was a natural and the way he handled his bad beat was remarkable.Roza played a stormer,well done girl,i will be with you all in Vegas.Catch Ya!!!......Tommy

Yes, it was certainly one of, if not the best event’s I have played in for a while.

Certainly fantastic to play with a group of great celebrities and pro’s alike. Everyone had a fantastic time and 888Poker really managed to pull of the Trifecta with this event. 3rd place in the race was getting Shane Warne across the line as a sponsored player. 2nd was getting so many high profile celebrities together and all wearing 888 branding, totally awesome. And of course, 1st place and the trifecta Jeff Fenech winning the seat to head to Vegas. Shane and Jeff will really make some noise over there, I can’t wait to see the updates.

Wont bore you with all the numbers and percentages here (there all on my site for those who like to know).Worst play of the night was from N.S.W player (no names! you know who you are) checked out the hand with a full boat????????????? Best play of the night the new guy from W.A .on the big blind checked his pocket Kings to disguise then classic check raise to put two players all in,completely confused Jono and Tony K who both called,monster pot and the new guy took it down. Best Quote of the night from Roza after sucking a player in to a all in she turned over the nuts and said “do i win” the guys face was a picture. The money split was good with the top twenty getting paid and with 170+ runners my stat board is crammed.
